“Coach Kim has been an instrumental in my growth as a leader. In addition to helping me cultivate embodied leadership in my professional life, her coaching skills have also enabled me to engage in my passion, inspiring me to found GRACE Cares, a non-profit that supports local heroes around the world. Kim’s knowledge and extraordinary experience support me fully in my journey. I highly recommend Kim as a talented coach who approaches her work with love and integrity.”

“Kim has been my coaching partner through several upward steps in my career. At each level, she has helped prepare and support me to progress with grace and courage. Coaching with Kim helps empower me to maximize leadership opportunities in my work, in my community, and in personal life. I now actively seek opportunities to lead in much more significant ways. Coaching with Kim has helped me come closer to realizing my full potential.
Kim has helped me to develop a keener sense of self-awareness and taught me how to ’self’ coach; useful in high stress situations. She has helped me sharpen my understanding of personal strengths and deficits. Working together, we have developed practices that help me cope with these most effectively.
Coaching with Kim is dynamic. She helps me see life’s boundless possibilities and tune into my personal wisdom. I can make life and career decisions that get me closer to personal fulfillment. Equally important, or maybe more so, I’m now maximizing my contribution to making the world a better place.”

“I found myself in a leadership role with no intention of being there. Ideas that had come out of my work seemed to gain momentum and next thing I knew I was head of an advocacy project with staff, fund raising and sudden visibility. I called upon Kim to help me grow into this leadership position. Working together, I’ve been able to grow in my leadership, and develop on my strengths. I am finally claiming my true aspirations as a leader - not for my own sake, but for the sake of all those that my advocacy work helps protect.”

“Kim Marshall has helped me ground myself in my sense of purpose and tap my strengths as a collaborative leader. With Kim’s feedback and coaching, I’ve become more attentive to the needs of others and my own needs, so that we can build our collective power for positive change.
Effective conservation work in Idaho has everything to do with developing good working relationships with co-workers, other conservationists and with people of all backgrounds. Creating effective partnerships for the better of the environment sometimes requires me to step outside my comfort zone.
Kim knows how to ask the right questions to identify obstacles to personal and professional growth, and how to give concrete, practical tips for overcoming those obstacles. She approaches her work with an enthusiasm and passion that’s infectious and makes me as excited to improve myself as I am about my work to protect the environment.”

“Working with Coach Kim been one of the most helpful on-going relationships I’ve had. She has helped me continually stay focused and on track with my goals and objectives. One of her amazing skills is her ability to profoundly listen with great kindness and clarity. Without reservation I would recommend Coach Kim as a personal coach.
My life has been immeasurably enriched by this relationship. Coach Kim is one of the rare and special lights who illuminates my world.”

“I had always tried to live a big life — full of goals and rich with experience. Marathons, advertising career, travel; I called the shot and then made it happen. Yet I had arrived in a new city without friends, without intellectual stimulation, and seemingly without career options. A sense of profound isolation surrounded me. Seems I wasn’t as in control as I’d always imagined.
Life Coaching was a discipline I knew little about. I needed a way to see around the obstructed view of what I could create for myself under circumstances that weren’t, at all, to my liking. Anger and frustration were spilling into the family relationships I cherished. It seems that each time I considered a course of action, road blocks presented themselves. In order to get past “can’t do that,” I decided to work with Kim Marshall. (I should also admit to feeling quite conflicted about the legitimacy of coaching as a means to an end.)
I don’t mind being wrong, particularly when the outcome is so glorious. My work with Kim helped me find my way to a Masters degree in Environmental Studies and freelance journalism assignments. It bridged two chapters in my life, and gave me the tools to navigate through turbulence that has arisen since. Periodically, I check back in with Kim. Her calm, compassionate, total commitment has allowed me to discover what I stand for. She is like a light I shine whenever it is difficult to see through to the next step.”

“When I first came to Kim, I found myself stretched like a balloon about to pop. I enlisted Kim to help me find clarity.
While sitting with Kim, I reframed the way I create results by using her coaching framework: she guided my attention always toward the big picture, strategic issues, and the continuous personal feedback of reflective learning. After many decades of struggle, my self-evaluative performance feels graceful and easier. She guided me to shift my perspective to find the sweet spot of personal renewable energy.
I have been through coaching experiences with two other coaches. I felt discounted and unimportant in the first and not well listened to in the second. Coaching needs to be wholly satisfying: by gently removing the confines of the box surrounding my attitude and choices, Kim watched and guided my experience to a new level of self-wonderment.
Slowly, I came back to myself. I saw my distractions clearly. Retreating to their places around my periphery, my focus sprouted refreshed from its slumber.
I now have a dance to my own music. I worked hard to earn my mid-life PhD., examining my own adolescent years and understanding that girls simply need many women mentors who will surround them with a safety net and offer a hand up.
In my new dance, I float from the sphere of partnership with my very talented husband to a multitude of garden projects to advocacy for girls and back. I am clear about my three roles. I am clear about my dance, and I would not be without Kim’s coaching.”
